Dear Friends,

On July 23, 2014, sixteen of the very best songwriter/musicians took the stage at Republic New Orleans for the very first Hit Me America Songwriters' Showcase. That night, we took 10 minutes between performances to demonstrate a very unusual songwriting session between the artists and the audience.  In the back of the room, audience member Debbie Pennington threw out the line "Breezy in the Easy" and at that moment, the idea for "Easy Breezy" was born.

Six weeks later, Rockin' Dopsie Jr, Steve Blaze, Lynn Drury and Scott Lee Tully joined producers Brad Bohannan, John Autin and Mark Carson at a most remarkable songwriting session where they would write "Easy Breezy" in just one hour with the help of the kids and audience members at Children's Hospital New Orleans. What you are about to hear may be the first true songwriting collaboration between professional songwriters and their audience. 100% of all revenues received from your contribution to "Easy Breezy" will go to benefit Team Gleason and Children's Hospital.

We are very proud to present to you EASY BREEZY, the first song produced under the HIT ME AMERICA banner!

                             - Steven Scaffidi, Executive Producer
